ITP merger with IT consultancy

 

ITP are delighted to announce its merger with Afiniti Limited, a London based IT consultancy specialising in helping clients achieve business change enabled by IT.  Afiniti is all about people and how people are informed, involved and inspired to embrace the business change – as an end user and as a stakeholder.

 

Established in the late 1990s and with current annual revenues in excess of £3 million, Afiniti supports a wide range of blue chip clients in both the private and public sectors through their consultative approach to the design, development and delivery of leadership development, training, communications, IT service delivery, project management and managed service solutions.

 

Chris Tanner, Managing Director of ITP, joins Afiniti’s Board of Directors in the new role of Director, Project Management, leading the Project Management business which includes existing ITP services and a new to the UK product called myMetier. ITP will operate under the Afiniti brand and will continue to be based from their Bristol offices.  The integration with Afiniti will enable ITP clients to benefit from an enhanced suite of client services and consultancy offerings designed to address the growing challenges that organisations face in implementing business change through project-based activities.

ITP has over 30 years experience in Project Management and Business Systems Development, and for the past 16 years has used this expertise to support the training and consultancy requirements of a wide client base; covering both public and private sectors.

ITP Training-Consultancy-Resources is the culmination of over 30 years experience in the formal management and support of Projects & Programmes, and the development of Project Management methodologies, such as PRINCE2™. Founded by Chris Tanner and others in the early 1990's, for the past 16 years ITP has used this expertise to support the training and consultancy requirements of a wide client base - covering both public and private sectors. It is essential for any business to remain competitive by, for instance, exploring new markets or offering a more advanced product than its rivals, and it is the Project Mangers' responsibility to manage this kind of business change by taking into account the risks involved, planning the workable sequence of activities that make up the projects' life-cycle and to ensure the end result matches the original specification. If that's not enough, all this has to be completed within a pre-determined time scale, to a pre-determined (and usually limited!) budget.

It is ITP's responsibility to provide support to either an individuals', or an entire organisations', Managed Projects ensuring that the chances of their success are greatly improved. We understand that undertaking formal Project Management training, and then implementing new skills in a 'real-world' project environment can seem daunting to the uninitiated, therefore we focus on building a strong working partnership with all of our clients that is both comprehensive and flexible enough to work alongside your Projects.
